This revolutionary pellet is fed "as is". You do NOT need to add water to soften PVF Poultry & Rice "Easy Chew". While this diet is a must for ferrets under one year of age, it can also be fed during all life stages.

NOTE: Our PVF ferrets are already weaned onto this diet-- fed dry-- (plus a water BOWL) before they ever leave home. Please do not change our youngsters to other diets once they go to their new homes!

Cooked at lower temperature to protect nutrients. Some believe lower cooking temperatures are better for the ingredients potency.

Softer pellet type and easy to chew....it is a "MUST" for a "Junior's" first year. We think this is a great starter diet for any new ferret.

Our Poultry and Rice pellet has a rapid breakdown which makes nutrients available quickly in your ferret's digestive system. (Ferrets have a 3 hour digestive turnaround).

Like our PVF Crunchy diet, this diet has good sources of Omega-3 dietary fatty acid, which is good for your ferret.

Like our PVF Crunchy diet, this diet has several meat based high protein ingredients. Because ferrets are carnivores, they need plenty of animal based proteins.
